Very Dark Chocolate Cake

I wanted something sweet but not too sweet. This is how I came across the Very Dark Chocolate Cake.

Ingridients A)

300g flour
3 tbsp. Cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder

Ingridients B)

250ml plant-based milk
250g butter
200g Cacao (I used both: Gorilla and Classic)

Ingridients C)

100g cane sugar
5 eggs


Preheat oven to 175′.

Mix all powders (Ingridients A) in a bowl.

In a small pot: pour milk 250ml and add butter 250g. Heat it up until butter melts. Add chopped
Cacao (200g). Mix until dissolved (around 2 minutes). Leave to cool down.

Put all Ingredients C into a food processor bowl and mix it for 5 minutes.
The mass should be puffy and creamy.

Mix the cacao mass with the egg mass together, then add all ingredients A.

Prepare baking form: put the baking paper on the bottom and smear the butter on the edges for the cake not to stick to the form.
Pour the mass into the round baking form.

Bake 45 minutes (using upper and lower heat). After the time runs out, turn off the oven and leave the cake for a few more minutes in. Take it out and leave to cool down.

It tastes great with homemade marmalade or with a whipped coconut milk!
